Eagle Mine to host Community Forums, Open Houses throughout Marquette and Baraga Counties

Eagle Mine will host a series of community forums and open houses throughout Marquette and Baraga Counties.

The forums are an opportunity to learn more about the status of Eagle Mine and get an update on its operations. Forums will be held at:

Humboldt: Thursday, May 16, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Humboldt Township Hall, 244 Co Rd FAF, Champion

Marquette: Friday, May 17, from 12-1 p.m. at the Eagle Mine Information Center, 153 A W. Washington St., Marquette

Michigamme: Monday, May 20, from 12-1 p.m. at Mt. Shasta, 1915 US Highway 41, Michigamme

Big Bay: Tuesday, May 21, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Thunder Bay Inn, 400 Bensinger St., Big Bay

The open houses are an opportunity to learn about Eagle Mine operations and its continued interest in exploration in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Open houses will be held at:

L’Anse: Thursday, May 30, from 12-1 p.m. at the Village of L’Anse Council Room, 101 N. Main St., L’Anse

Covington: Thursday, May 30, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Covington Multipurpose Building, 12898 State Highway M28, Covington
